Victorian corner pubs aren’t unusual in many parts of inner-city Melbourne. But it’s rare to find one that’s been transformed into an award-winning home. Architect Robert Simeoni received the prestigious John and Phyllis Murphy Award from the Australian Institute of Architects (Victorian Chapter), together with an architecture award for heritage, as a result of his work on this home.
Ever committed to sharing great design and architecture, Open Journal (OJ, ●) is a platform for us to promote ideas, curiosities and projects from across the globe alongside insights and conversations with the people who make up our vibrant communities. It’s also a great way to stay informed about Neometro activities and learn more about our values and approach.
